The HD/SD Pro Decoder Blade also supports 708 and 608 Closed Captioning insertion into
the HD SDI and SD SDI VANC and other VANC data such as Audio Metadata and Broad-
cast Flag insertion. 708 and 608 verification is supported using an Onscreen Display feature
that decodes the 708 or 608 directly onto the output video for QC purposes, saving you time
and money by eliminating the need for expensive Closed Captioning decoding and display
devices.
Software provided with the HD/SD Pro Decoder Blade includes an integrated, easy-to-use
GUI with PlayAdvantagePlus™. Automation and Machine Control is included with Com-
mandAdvantage Software which supports control of the decoding system via BVW and
VDCP protocols.
With this system there are no concerns about hardware compatibility, searching endlessly
for third party drivers, or loading software components from multiple vendors. The
HD/SD Pro Decoder Blade is truly a turn key system that includes pre-loaded and pre-con-
figured software, rack rails, Decoder Audio and Video Breakout Cable, RS 232 to RS 422
adapter, Serial Cable, and RS 422 Null cable so that you can simply unbox the blade and be
up and running in minutes.
