Available in two versions, the classic MediaAdvantage server is packaged in a compact and versatile 2-RU chassis and serves smaller on-air facilities to enterprise applications.

The new MediaAdvantage 5000 server is Vela's high density video server, supporting any combination of five video channels of inputs or outputs. This system is easily re-configurable and can effortlessly be re-designed to meet your changing needs, without the time and expense of purchasing a new server. Both MediaAdvantage servers support high definition, standard definition, multi-channel play out and optional transcoding and encoding in Windows Media V.9, Real G2, MPEG-2 and Ligos MPEG-1 formats. An easy to use Graphical User Interface (GUI) provides access to a comprehensive set of video management features, including time code aware recording, LTC input/output and simultaneous encoding and decoding confidence monitoring, among other features. MediaAdvantage also supports VTR and machine control for maximum flexibility in video management.
